Printer-friendly format Plantation Survey 1997-2001

Each dot in the graphic above represents a single excavated test pit. The survey maps in landscape features as well, including streams and drainages (blue), modern and Jefferson period roads (red), field boundaries and fencelines.

Over the last five winters, a total of 305 acres have been surveyed by the Plantation Archaeological Survey. The primary focus has been on areas in and around Jefferson's agricultural fields. We expect to complete this phase by Spring 2003.
