To decipher a message: Cut and paste the Key from the e-mail you received into the field above the Wheel Cipher and press “Set Key.” The letters of the key set the order of the wheels. Cut and paste the Secret from your e-mail into the Scratch Paper below the Wheel Cipher and type it into the Cipher by choosing the first wheel and simply typing across. Be careful! It’s easy to miss a letter. Rotate the Electronic Wheel Cipher slowly using the “All Up” or “All Down” buttons until you see a readable message. If only part of it seems readable, you may have skipped a letter. If so, go back to Step Two and type the message again. If nothing is readable check the Key to see if it matches the one in your e-mail.
