Reservations for this tour are not required. Check signs onsite or ask a Monticello staff member for a daily schedule.
Tours begin on Mulberry Row near the Hemmings Cabin (view a map of Monticello for visitors).

Explore Monticello's restored flower gardens, vegetable garden, and surrounding grounds. Learn about Jefferson's designs for the original landscape and hear stories about the free and enslaved people who helped realize his plans and maintain his gardens.
Guests can meet Thomas Jefferson (as portrayed by veteran historical actor-interpreter Bill Barker) in person, most Tuesdays through Saturdays during regularly scheduled hours.
