The Robert H. Smith International Center for Jefferson Studies at Monticello announces the release of Religion, State and Society: Jefferson's Wall of Separation in Comparative Perspective, a compilation of essays that examine the separation of religion and state in a comparative perspective with European and Middle Eastern experiences. The essays were first presented at a 2007 conference in Prague organized and sponsored by the ICJS.
The 252-page book, edited by Robert Fatton Jr. and R.K. Ramazani, was published by Palgrave Macmillan.
