Avid ineterest in Jefrson since 1955 and 1st visit to Monticello. Have always felt a certain "kinship" with him and wish very much that I could have been privileged to know him and spend some quality time with him. What a "powerhouse" intellect he had! What a dedication he had to liberty for all. What a disdain he had for those who would seek to over-govern us. What an inspiration he was and IS to all of us who study his life.
I am simply a person who greatly enjoys learning of someone as fascinating
as this man, and who wishes that we had some folks like him around (and, who knows, maybe we do) at this time in our world's history. That would be a comforting thing to know indeed!
