I'm the Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Coordinator in Guilford County (Greensboro), NC. I've visited Monticello 5 times now and have been moved to tears by at least ONE thing on each visit (something different each time).
Can anyone tell me the variety of St. Johns Wort (hypericum) that is used at Monticello? (I saw an almost identical variety at Mt. Vernon the day after my last Monticello visit a couple of weeks ago.) It's far larger and bushier than any I've been able to find in North Carolina, and I'd love to...more »
