About Me

A 4xgreat granddaughter of Martha and Thomas Jefferson and a 5xgreat niece of Martha's half-sister, Sally Hemings. On the organizing team that ran the Monticello Community Gathering in 2007, bringing together 250 descendants of people who had lived and worked at Monticello in Jefferson's day. Active member of Coming to the Table, an organization grounded in Dr. King's vision that the sons and daughters of the enslaved and the slaveowners might one day sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
