About Me

Prospect Hill Plantation Inn is a romantic Virginia country inn located on the outskirts of Charlottesville, Virginia. It is an authentic 18th century plantation complex consisting of the 1732 manor house with all seven of the original dependencies and former slave quarters, dating from 1699 to 1850. Eleven distinctive guest rooms and cottages, all with private baths and working fireplaces, and most with double Jacuzzi whirlpool baths, await your arrival. To say that each guest room and cottage is unique would be an understatement… by keeping each room's original function as intact as possible, these guest rooms and suites vary from elegant to rustic. All, however, are charming and romantic with period furnishings, pillow-top queen and king size beds, and modern bathroom amenities.
