Cleome hasslerana

The annual Spider Flower has been traditionally associated with the restored flower gardens at Monticello. Its showy pink flowers, large multi-lobed leaves, and strong habit growth (to five or six feet) make it a handsome addition to the Monticello Roundabout flower walk.
