Of the Student, By the Student, For the Student videos

Students from Sutherland Middle School in Albemarle Co., VA, produced nine original short video documentaries (or vodcasts) focusing on Monticello and Thomas Jefferson.  Educators from Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello partnered with the Journey Through Hallowed Ground Partnership’s award-winning, multimedia service-learning project -- Of the Student, By the Student, For the Student™ -- to launch the innovative program with the 200 sixth graders.* The films debuted at the 23rd annual Virginia Film Festival on November 6, 2010.
