As part of our exciting new speaker series TOM Talks℠, Monticello’s Research Archaeologist Derek Wheeler will lead this visit to the site of Thomas Jefferson’s birthplace, sharing details of the plantation during Jefferson’s childhood when Shadwell was the family home. Light snacks will be offered. Moderate outdoor walking is involved.
