Virginia Festival of the Book

Keith Thomson will discuss his new book Jefferson’s Shadow: The Story of His Science about Jefferson’s passionate interest in science, central to his public and private life. Thomson is a biologist and a historian of science, executive officer of the American Philosophical Society, and professor emeritus at the University of Oxford. 5 - 6 pm at the Milstein Theater, Thomas Jefferson Visitor Center. 6 - 7 pm book selling and signing in the Monticello Museum Shop. Doors open at 4:30 pm.
