The Thomas Jefferson Foundation offers organizations and individuals demonstrating a commitment to Monticello's mission of preservation and education the opportunity to have special educational tours and lectures with accompanying meetings or social events. Monticello is less than fifteen minutes from downtown Charlottesville and a short drive from Richmond, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
