Thomas Jefferson was not only a founding father --- he was a founding gardener! Join Monticello staff for a hands-on adventure in Jefferson's restored vegetable garden. Practice your gardening skills as you plant and water seeds. Try something new as you discover Jefferson’s rare and unusual veggies and harvest a snack fresh from the earth. Take home a living connection to our nation’s history: heirloom seeds from Mr. Jefferson's garden!  Suggested for families with children ages 5-10
