Debbie Donley, Monticello's Flower Gardener and local artist, will present basic level instruction on botanical drawing and watercolors. This morning-long workshop will take place in the Flower Gardens at Monticello. Participants will be encouraged to take an in depth look at an individual flower and make a detailed painting of it. All materials will be supplied, but seasoned artists are welcome to bring their own.
Not recommended for children age 7 or younger. Any children registered must be accompanied by an adult.
In the event of inclement weather, the workshop will move to an indoor location at the visitor center and cut-flowers from the Monticello gardens will be provided for painting.
