Join Monticello's flower gardener and local artist, Debbie Donley, for a very special floral painting class in the Monticello Gardens! In a self-paced class designed for beginner and intermediate painters, students will receive instruction on botanical drawing and watercolors.
Situated among Monticello’s spectacular floral gardens, participants will be encouraged to take an in-depth look at an individual bloom and create a detailed painting. All materials will be supplied, but seasoned artists are welcome to bring their own tools and supplies.
Additional info
- All painting classes are recommended for adults. Children under 12 are not permitted, and all older children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Attendees are asked to bring water and a hat. Bug spray will be provided.
- In the event of rain, an indoor location will be provided featuring a selection of flowers from the gardens.
