It’s (nearly) “back to school” time! Here at Monticello, we’ve just wrapped up the second week of Monticello Teacher Institute, our week-long onsite fellowship for educators. Created in 2004, this immersive professional development program gives teachers the opportunity to conduct their own research, speak with scholars, take tours, participate in collaborative workshops, and more.

In this live Q&A, Monticello staff and several educators who participated in MTI this year discuss their week at Monticello, what they learned, and the resources they created.

The Monticello Teacher Institute is made possible by generous donations from Mr. and Mrs. Paul B. Barringer II and The Charles Fund, Inc.
