About MeI'm the Floor Manager at the Visitor Center Museum Shop, and have been at Monticello for almost twelve years. My co-workers get a kick out of the fact that I love spiders. When I find one scuttling across the shop floor, I catch it in a Jefferson cup and take it outside instead of stomping on it. Besides American history, I enjoy stargazing, science & nature, genealogy, literature, and music.
The response to the stunning new 15-minute movie "Thomas Jefferson's World," shown in the theater on the courtyard level of the Smith Education Center every 20 minutes throughout the day, has been tremendous. The film is the result of the combined efforts of scholars at Monticello and Donna Lawrence Productions of Louisville, Kentucky. It is not to be missed when visiting Monticello. Several times a week our guests will come straight from a viewing of the movie to the Museum Shop, hopeful that it is available for purchase. Fortunately it is. Find a link to a short trailer of the film here.Christy Campbell
