The Valentine Museum in Richmond has a watercolor of the State Capitol in Richmond attributed to William Goodacre by Fiske Kimball. Is it possible that the watercolor was actually done by Thomas Jefferson in preparation for construction and subsequently copied in an engraving by William Goodacre?
