Thank you for this wonderful peek at some of the plants brought back from the Lewis and Clark Expedition by Meriwether Lewis. I'm working on designing a garden that references Lewis' historical relationship to horticulture and I wonder if there are any good resources available on the subject aside from this article. What plants did he himself prefer/grow? Did he have a garden? I would love to learn more about his mother's profession as an herb doctor as well. Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you!
