Mr. Wallenborn states that Edmund Bacon was born March 28, 1785, and that he came to live at Monticello December 27, 1800. Wallenborn say that Bacon was 16 at the time. If he was born March 28, 1785, wouldn't he be 15 on December 27, 1800? Wallenborn also says that Bacon, if he came to Monticello on December 27, 1800,would have been there at the time of conception for Harriet Hemings. I think that she was born in May of 1801, so her likely
conception would have occurred in August of 1800, several months
before Bacon says that he came to live at Monticello.
