Gifts of Property

A cittern purchased by Jefferson and donated to Monticello in 1946.The Foundation accepts gifts of objects and furniture that are appropriate for its permanent or study collections. Monticello's Curatorial Department will be happy to work with donors on these gifts.

The Jefferson Library also keeps a "Wish List" of Jefferson-related titles on Amazon that the Foundation would like to acquire for our collections. To access this list, please click here.

Please contact us if you plan to purchase one of these titles on the Foundation's behalf or make a donation towards a specific purchase.

Gifts of property such as land or houses can also help the foundation. Please visit our Planned Giving page if you are interested in learning more or contact us.
