Join staff archaeologists for a conversation about archaeological work at Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello. Geared toward adult learners, this discussion encompasses research on Jefferson’s extensive plantation, including archaeological survey methods and the discovery of enslaved households vanished from the landscape. Come see artifacts unearthed from these recent excavations and bring your questions! Archaeologists will be on hand to discuss the ins and outs of archaeology.
