You will need a reliable internet connection and computer, tablet, or smartphone with a speaker or headphones.
We are using a computer application called Zoom for our virtual tours. If you have not used Zoom on your computer or device before, you will need to download it. System requirements can be found here:
https://support.Zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362023-System-Requirements-for-PC-Mac-and-Linux
After you purchase your ticket, you will receive a Zoom web link in your order confirmation. Please plan to join us via this link 5 to 10 minutes prior to the tour start time. Once you join, you will be placed in a waiting room. You will temporarily wait here until Monticello begins the tour.
If you need technical support either with connecting via Zoom or with technical issues during the guided virtual tour, please consult the Zoom help center: https://support.Zoom.us/hc/en-us. Monticello guides are unable to answer technical support questions during the guided virtual tour.
We look forward to your virtual trip to Thomas Jefferson’s “little mountain!”
