Friendship like wine (Quotation)

Thomas Jefferson did write "I find friendship to be like wine" in an 1811 letter to his good friend Dr. Benjamin Rush.

"I find friendship to be like wine, raw when new, ripened with age, the true old man’s milk, & restorative cordial."
