"Servant's House" q.

A slave dwelling on Mulberry Row that Jefferson as being "14. f. by 17. f. of wood, with a wooden chimney, the floor of earth."

Jefferson labeled this structure "q. a servant’s house 14. f. by 17. f. of wood, with a wooden chimney, the floor of earth" in the 1796 Mutual Assurance Plat.

Demolished by 1830, this building likely housed enslaved people.
