Celebrate the beauty of Monticello’s gardens through art in this special floral watercolor workshop at Jefferson Vineyards. Join Monticello’s Flower Gardener and local artist Debbie Donley for an afternoon inspired by Thomas Jefferson’s lifelong love of plants, flowers, and botanical beauty.

About the Event

Join Monticello’s Flower Gardener and local artist Debbie Donley for a special floral watercolor workshop. Inspired by the beauty of Monticello’s gardens in the golden light of late afternoon, you'll learn the fundamentals of botanical drawing and watercolor painting while enjoying a relaxed and scenic setting at Monticello's Jefferson Vineyards. 

Designed for both beginner and intermediate painters, this hands-on class includes personalized instruction, all art supplies, and the opportunity to create your own botanical masterpiece to take home. 

Light food & beverages, including our award-winning wine, is available purchase.

Note, in the event of inclement weather, this program will be rescheduled to the following day (9/28 and 10/8). Participants will be alerted via email the morning of by 10am.
