Celebrate Spring

Visit Monticello's plant nursery, the Thomas Jefferson Center for Historic Plants (CHP), and see inspiring display gardens in their full spring glory. Shop for plants, enjoy guided garden tours, and ask our knowledgeable staff your gardening questions.

Select perennials (herbaceous perennials, spring ephemerals, herbs, and ferns), all fruit trees (apples and pears), and select trees and shrubs will be discounted — plus new plant inventory has arrived since our last sale.

Please wear appropriate clothing for walking and outdoor sales.

Personal wagons for transporting purchases are welcome; onsite wagons are limited.

People peruse plants laid out on tables at Monticello's Center for Historic Plants during an annual plant sale.
