Martha Jefferson Hospital
Martha Jefferson Hospital is a hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia, now part of the Sentara health system, and located on the Pantops land once owned by Thomas Jefferson. It is named for both Thomas Jefferson's wife, Martha Wayles Skelton Jefferson, and his eldest daughter, Martha Jefferson Randolph. One of the founders of the hospital was Dr. William M. Randolph, a great-great-great-grandson of Thomas Jefferson.
