On Founders Day, we honor Thomas Jefferson’s birthday and bring together community and conversation to reflect on the ideals that shaped the nation.

Celebrate Founders Day at Monticello with public conversations on the West Lawn and an annual wreath-laying ceremony commemorating Jefferson’s birthday. Meet local community partners, and try out hands-on activities for all ages at the Mountaintop Activity Center.
