Activities include archaeology, exploring the gardens, creating crafts, playing games, and a special tour of the Monticello mansion.  Surrounded by the spectacular setting of Monticello, campers explore Thomas Jefferson’s ideas and the daily life of the people, both free and enslaved, who lived on this working plantation.

We provide a snack daily. If your child has food allergies, we encourage you to send a comparable snack if needed.

Enrollment is limited to 16 participants per session.

Monticello Summer Adventures are led by friendly and professional Monticello guides, with assistance from youth volunteers. With two adult instructors, children receive plenty of personal attention.
