Dwelling (MRS 2)
An unnamed log slave dwelling not listed in Jefferson's records.
Built in the 1780s, this unnamed log slave dwelling likely housed an enslaved family or kinship group. Not mentioned by Jefferson in his records, Monticello staff archaeologists found evidence of the building in the 1980s and called it Mulberry Row Structure 2 (MRS-2).
