The Shop at Monticello

The expansive Shop at Monticello offers an extraordinary collection of souvenirs, educational games and toys, home décor pieces, Virginia wines, gourmet food products, posters and prints, collectibles, and exclusive Monticello reproductions.

The book section offers more than 250 titles—including one of the most comprehensive selections of Jefferson-related books available anywhere—and comfortable reading chairs.
A collection of ten seed packs, including Arikara Sunflower, Cardinal Flower, English Lavender, Blanket Flower, Foxglove, Bachelor’s Button, Purple Coneflower, Lemon Bergamot, Plains Coreopsis, Butterfly Weed.
The Shop also features historic plants and seeds harvested Monticello's gardens as well as a wide range of gardening accessories.

Location

The Shop is located at the David M. Rubenstein Visitor Center, across from the security area. No tickets required to visit the Shop.

Hours of Operation

  • Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and Tuesdays in January - February.
  • Special events, holidays, and inclement weather may impact hours of operation. To check hours or for more information, call 434-984-9840.
