Mountaintop Trail

Many guests enjoy taking a walking trail roughly half a mile that connects the historic mountaintop area with our visitor center and passes Jefferson's grave site. 

A Monticello ticket is required to walk up this trail, so be sure to purchase your ticket(s) at our visitor center or online first.
