Girl Scout Day

Come to Monticello to walk in the footsteps of Thomas Jefferson and earn a Monticello patch!  Special Girl Scout programming includes both guided and self-guided exploration for all levels.  The day’s activities include a tour of Jefferson’s world-famous house, lessons in historic gardening, a Lewis & Clark explorer’s station, a hands-on archaeology space and experimentation with Jefferson’s favorite gadgets in the Griffin Discovery Room.   Participants will receive a Monticello patch and “Jefferson Journal” to record the day’s discoveries.  Bring your lunch to eat in the picnic area or purchase from the Monticello café.  Please wear Girl Scout uniform or identifier.  Tickets are non-refundable.  Pre-registration is strongly suggested.
