Celebrate the legacy of revolutionary gardener Thomas Jefferson during the 8th annual Heritage Harvest Festival at Monticello. Thomas Jefferson, America’s “First foodie,” championed vegetable cuisine, plant experimentation and sustainable agriculture.

Taste a bounty of heirloom fruits and vegetables and learn about organic gardening and seed-saving during this fun, affordable, family-friendly festival—unlike any other—held on the breathtaking West Lawn of Jefferson’s Monticello.

Hosted by Monticello and Southern Exposure Seed Exchange.

Heritage Harvest Festival is really very good festival to exchange and enjoy some delicious food.

Don't miss this year's Heritage Harvest Festival! We have over 100 programs and workshops, 90 vendors and exhibitors, six bands on the WTJU music stage, live animals, and some of the best food concessions in C'ville.

We'll see you on September 16th or 17th, rain or shine!

If it is anything like last year, the Heritage Harvest Festival will be a great time. There are opportunities to hear lectures, participate in a seed exchange and enjoy some delicious food. I won't miss it and you shouldn't either.
