Jefferson's Birthday
Monticello will mark the 269th anniversary of Thomas Jefferson's birth with ceremonies on the grounds. Jessica Tuchman Mathews, president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and recipient of the 2012 Thomas Jefferson Foundation Medal in Citizen Leadership, will be this year's featured speaker.
