Join Debbie Donley, Monticello's Flower Gardener, for a morning-long workshop in the beautiful Flower Garden at Monticello, during the height of spring. Debbie is also a professional artist, and has been selling her "NAMEinals-Children's NAME Pictures", at the Charlottesville City Market, for over 30 years.

This is a workshop for all skill levels, and will demonstrate basic and some intermediate techniques for botanical drawing and watercolors. The participants will then disperse throughout the garden to sketch and paint.

This is an outdoor workshop, so come prepared for the elements, such as insects and sun. Inclement weather will move the workshop to an indoor location with fresh cut flowers.

Not recommended for children age 7 or younger. Any children registered must be accompanied by an adult.
