Make Monticello a part your visit when more than 250 of Virginia’s most beautiful gardens, homes, and historic landmarks celebrate Historic Garden Week in Virginia, described as “America’s Largest Open House.”

In addition to Monticello’s regular guided Gardens and Grounds Tours, our annual observance of Historic Garden Week in Virginia will include talks, behind-the-scenes tours, and an open house at our Thomas Jefferson Center for Historic Plants.

Garden Week Conversation with Lee Buttala: Planting History in your Garden
Join Lee Buttala as he shares tips along with glorious photos of some of our oldest and most interesting,plants, flowers and crops.
6:30-8:30pm at Monticello's David M. Rubenstein Visitor Center
