Mountaintop Hands-on Activity Center

Write with a quill pen, play 18th century games, look through a camera obscura, build models and enjoy many more funhands-on activities designed for  families with children of all ages.

Open 10 – 5pm on the following dates:

• Spring Break 
  March 23 – April 7
• Summer
  June 8 – September 2
• First Three Weekends  in October, plus Columbus Day:
  October 5-6,12-14, & 19-20

Included in the price of any tour. Reservations for this area are not required. The activity center is located below the North Terrace that adjoins Monticello's main house.
