Martha Wayles Skelton Jefferson, wife of Thomas Jefferson, is a historical figure little known in public memory. Hear her story from Mrs. Jefferson herself, as brought to life by Nicole Brown. But what about all of the research and technique that goes into a portrayal? Ms. Brown will share about her work as a first-person interpreter and public historian, including her time as a research fellow at the Robert H. Smith International Center for Jefferson Studies. The talk will be moderated by veteran Thomas Jefferson interpreter, Bill Barker (as himself).
