As panel discussion with Brandon Dillard, Manager of Historic Interpretation at Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello; Brenda Parker, Coordinator of African American Interpretation at George Washington’s Mount Vernon; and Dr. Márcia Balisciano, Founding Director of the Benjamin Franklin House. As part of the Transatlantic Slavery Symposium, they will discuss how these three institutions contextualize and interpret slavery in early America.
