Site 20 is a relatively small site located along the edge of the Bell Field rock alignment. During the 1997 Plantation Archaeological Survey, only one test pit on the 40-foot grid was positive. This test pit contained a wrought nail and a pearlware sherd so a more intensive sampling program was scheduled for the 1999 survey season. Test pits on 20-foot centers were placed around the positive test pit. A number of positive test pits were identified and the 20-foot grid was expanded. A total of 13 positive test pits were identified and 29 artifacts were recovered. The assemblage was domestic in nature, consisting of refined ceramics including pearlware, creamware, and Chinese porcelain. Other artifacts found at Site 20 include green bottle glass, casting sprue, wrought nails and a possible scythe blade fragments.
