July 4th at Monticello

The Jeffersonian Open House is SOLD OUT

Monday, July 4, 2016 - 9:00am to 12:00pm

Join us on July 4, 2016 to celebrate "the great birthday of our republic" and experience the 54th annual Independence Day Celebration and Naturalization Ceremony at Monticello.  Dr. Larry J. Sabato, founder and director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, will speak to new citizens from around the world.

Admission to the July 4 ceremony is free and open to the public until 12 pm. Parking is available at Piedmont Virginia Community College. Reservations are recommended to secure a shuttle time to Monticello.

Following the ceremony, join us for a Jeffersonian Open House with free walk-through tours from 11:30 am to 1 pm (sold out).
