Join us and celebrate "the great birthday of our republic" and experience the 55th annual Independence Day Celebration and Naturalization Ceremony at Monticello.  

David N. Saperstein, former U.S. ambassador-at-large for international religious freedom and prominent Reform rabbi, will be the featured speaker, addressing new citizens from around the world. 

Following the ceremony, we will host a Jeffersonian Open House with free walk-through tours of Monticello from 11:15 am to 1 pm (the free walk-through tours are Sold Out).

Parking

Parking is available at Piedmont Virginia Community College. Shuttles begin running to Monticello at 7:30 am and will continue to return to PVCC throughout the day.
