Jefferson In Our Times
From May 2016 through May 2017, the Jefferson Library will be hosting a small exhibit in our lobby titled "Jefferson in Our Times: Popular Representations in American Fiction."
Fiction allows us to fill in the gaps in the historical record with our own theories, flesh out personalities, or imagine events had they happened differently. The Jefferson Library houses nearly three hundred works of fiction treating some aspect of Thomas Jefferson’s life, times, or legacy. These books provide a rich window into people’s perceptions of and feelings about Jefferson, and also highlight broader trends in how we view our history.

Other Titles - The exhibit also features several shelves full of miscellaneous fiction titles which were not singled out for specific treatment, but which patrons may also find interesting.
