Join a Monticello guide for a one hour tour of the Monticello quarters, and along Mulberry Row, the industrial hub of the Monticello plantation.  Guides will share stories and answer questions about the enslaved African Americans who lived and labored on this plantation, confront Jefferson’s conflicting ideas on freedom and race, and discuss legacies of American slavery.

This tour uses Zoom** to connect visitors from across the globe. During the tour, you can ask your Monticello guide questions, which will be answered in real-time, making for an interactive and unique experience.

**Zoom is a widely available videoconferencing program that works on any desktop or mobile device. We recommend downloading and installing the Zoom client or app prior to joining our Guided Virtual Tours.
