The remains of Monticello's Joinery along Mulberry Row

Monticello Plantation Life interpreters lead visitors down Mulberry Row, the plantation "street" along which slaves lived and labored. These 45-minute walking tours feature a look how the Monticello plantation operated and includes details and stories from the lives of individual slaves.

Tour Schedule

Plantation Community Tours are offered six times daily, March 15-Oct. 31. Tours begin in front of the Monticello Museum Shop at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. daily.

Making Reservations

Reservations for this tour are not required. Meets in front of the Monticello Museum Shop.
