Clocks, gongs, sundials... the world of Monticello was ruled by Thomas Jefferson’s emphasis on order through timekeeping. This livestream focused on Jefferson’s lifelong interest in clocks, and the role that timepieces played in the lives of free and enslaved people at Monticello.
