Monticello guests can meet Thomas Jefferson (as portrayed by veteran historical actor-interpreter Bill Barker) in person, Tuesday through Saturday during regularly scheduled programming.*

Widely recognized as the foremost interpreter of our nation's third President, Barker appears as Jefferson in regularly-scheduled programming, meeting with guests, answering questions, and bringing a deep and nuanced portrayal of the man who wrote "all men are created" and helped found the United States of America.

Typical Tuesday-Saturday Appearance Schedule*

10 a.m. - Milstein Theater at Monticello's David M. Rubenstein Visitor Center

11:30 a.m. - West Lawn, near the Fish Pond

12:30 - 2:30 p.m. - Roving encounters with guests

3 p.m. - Milstein Theater at Monticello's David M. Rubenstein Visitor Center

4:30 p.m. - West Lawn, near the Fish Pond
