    Available to attend in-person or as a virtual event, this lecture and recipe demonstration explores the history of one of the world's all-time favorite comfort foods, Macaroni and Cheese. Includes an in-depth look at one of the most recognizable connoisseurs of macaroni and cheese - Thomas Jefferson, who, together with his enslaved chef James Hemings, is often credited with the introduction and popularization of the dish into the United States. Featuring culinary historian Karima Moyer-Nocchi, Jefferson descendant and Monticello Public Relations and Community Engagement Office Gayle Jessup White, and Monticello Farm Table Executive Chef David Bastide.
